This is one of your best yet, this is really fantastic. The utter despair and loneliness comes through in the sparse arrangement, the piano and voice; but there's also something else. I can see a dark, blue night, and stars in a clear sky, and cold.
That droning stuff at the beginning is incredible. What is it?
