 This is a great song. The atmospheric guitar swirls are unexpected and sound great, really transporting. The sound of the strummed acoustic really works. Great melody and vocals, too.

ah, nearly spoken-voice, nearly grungey wail, love that lyric also.
composition utopia! I love to hear these layerings techniques used this well.
This has a very simple, poignant approach, you're not trying to sneak around the listener, it's just right there to swim in.
You're inspiring me, this is so excellent.

This brings to mind Nick Drake's work, Jack Johnson...maybe even a little Donovan. Its soft poeticism, lush simplicity...there are a number of artists of that vein who come to mind. I'd highly recommend this to any of their fans.
